In 1996, my family relocated to Lake Worth when my husband was selected as Fire Chief. We immediately began to serve the citizens by volunteering our time and effort serving many philanthropic and civic organizations. This allowed us to be a catalyst for change and bolster bridges within others.

We started with Project Graduation for Lake Worth Community High School seniors, which was aimed at celebrating the seniors final weeks: we volunteered and raised money for senior gifts and sponsored a safe haven for students on graduation night. We continued for 8 years after our youngest child graduated from Lake Worth High. We also fostered two high school students until their graduation from LWCHS, after which time they both successfully graduated from college.

I was appointed by the mayor to the Electric Utility Advisor and Community Relations Boards. Additionally, I have served on several boards with the city.

My strengths include my ability to bridge gaps and consensus building: which often involves compromise, thinking outside of the box, and a willingness to listen to all stakeholders.

We must strategically leverage our assets while listening to our citizens. I have served the citizens of Lake Worth Beach for the past 27 years and am asking for your support to continue said service as District 2 Commissioner.
